Shamelessly taken from the Champions Official Site...
"Atari and Cryptic are proud to announce the official Preorder promotions from retailers across the United States. In addition to specific exclusive promotions for each retailer, all preorders (from any retailer) will receive guaranteed access to the Champions Online open beta, beginning August 17th. All purchases also include 30-days of free play and five Cryptic Points to be spent in-game.
GameStop
GameStop is offering access to the Early Start Program, giving customers who preorder a few days headstart in the game before its official launch on September 1st! In addition, all preorders include the exclusive Insectoid Airfoil costume piece and the Experimental Anti-Graviton Generator flight travel power at character creation.
Wal-Mart
Wal-Mart offers a Limited Edition Package with collectible lenticular cover, which also includes a zone map, iron-on decal, and ten additional Cryptic Points.
Best Buy
Best Buy offers access to the Early Start Program, along with an exclusive action figure in-game and a damage resistance item.
Amazon
Amazon preorders receive five additional Cryptic Points, and three exclusive costume pieces: Harlequin Headpiece, Black Knight Helmet, and Grenade Chest Strap."
I like the flying early on but the Cryptic points and costume pieces sure are tempting. |

I have added a new section and a few more boards to the forums. If you want to see anything special put in place (read as a certain game), post in the site boards under suggestions. I will do what I can to get it up as soon as possible. |

At the time of this writing, there were 27 guests online at the CSSGaming web site. I know for a fact that these were, more likely then not, spammers. If any person attempts to post spam messages on this web site or forums, I will personally see to that your IP is banned. Ok. Not you IP. Your whole IP block. This will include every possible level of IP address for the carrier that you use. After that, I block the next level up on the address. This will continue until I block every IP address for the top level that is filtering down to the level that you are on. And then if all else fails. I will block every frakin IP for your country. Visit this site and contribute, fine. Visit this site and stuff your bullshit spam down the throats of all involved here, no way. Enjoy your bans folks. |

In the past, I have always said I would take advertsing on CSSGaming or it's affiliate web sites. In recent times, that policy has changed to some extent. I am now allowing ads for CCSGaming used companies where the ads will directly help cover the cost associated with running the site. At this time, I only have 2 ads running. The first would be for our hosting service, DreamHost. The right side ad for them is a basic click to sign up type of thing. The small button for DreamHost at the bottom of the page is a direct donation button. Sadly, this direct donation system has a minimum of $0.50 US. The GameSpeak buttong are both a basic click to sign up links. None of these will result in any contribution to CSSGaming.org.
In any event, I do not expect a single visitor to click these buttons. If you do so, it is of your own accord. Also, I want to make sure that all readers understand. I do not get any type of payment for the amount of clicks I receive so there is no need to hammer either company. If you do click through and sign up for either service, thank you in advance. |

The Random Images module is working. Well, sort of. It is displaying images but not processing the links as I would have hoped. I would also prefer to see the images in a better detail and have the ability to enlarge them in a new window or an overlaying frame. In any event, it working is a start. I will continue to work with and alter it until I get it the way we here at CSSGaming would like. For now, I would just suggest not trying to click one. It will only redirect you back to the main page. |
